First night in Jeddah

Waiting to go out.
I'm in the lobby waiting for the my friends to arrive so I can go out and see Jeddah at night.
Should be impressive to se, I've got a rooftop vantage point to take some shots from, should get some good pictures.
It's hot outside, about 38 degrees and its very dry.
Hopefully this will be fun.
At the hotel
I finally made it to the hotel and I have to say I'm impressed with it so far.
The lobby is smart and has allot of staff to help you, there are large chairs and settees all over where you can sit and get coffee, The security is tight with a metal detector and security when you arrive.
The rooms are large and clean with mini bars (of course there is not alcohol as you would expect ) and a safe for valuables, I checked and the default code is not 1234 or 4321 so they have been carful to have the default changed- this is a very good sign.
I'm going to get some sleep and go into the office this afternoon.

Waiting to depart
Well BA have decided that as I come from Brighton I like to be arse raped !
Lets start from the beginning . I arrived at terminal 5, it was a lovely sunny day, the drive there was quick and pleasant.
I use the check in computer, it tells me that all is fine and dandy, I just need to pop over to the desk for a chat, oh dear, this can't be good.
Turns out British airways have decided to do something that even Ryan air would feel embarrassed about, they didn't have any of their ageing and dilapidated (THIS WAS THEIR ACTUAL WORDS WHEN I SPOKE TO ANOTHER LADY AT THE BA DESK LATER!!!) planes for long hall left so I would fly cattle class for the two grand I had just paid!.
I was greeted by the BA supervisor who tried to smile and smarm her way out of it, she basically told me that they were going to give me £150 cash and I could make a complaint later, I said not good enough, took the complaint details and will make them pay for trying to fuck me without even buying me a drink later on.
This aside, I'm in the club lounge with a cold beer and a banana (they were free, as was the beer, if you class the flight fuck up as free).
I'm awaiting my flight at 23.30 to Jeddah, lets hope the flight wont be too bad.
